Open up your mind

Hi everyone!
It's been a while since it crossed my mind to make an illustration about yoga, meditation, and about the chakras.
This illustration talks about our state of mind, we can open our minds to actually enter in a state of peace to get to know ourselves, to feel and explore the outer world and the presence of those things left aside by our sight... that's why I draw the third eye... each part of the illustration has an specific color which defines each chakra.
- Crown: violet ( represented by the hair and the crown)
- Brow: indigo ( third eye's color)
- Throat: sky blue
- Heart: green ( represented in the light)
- Solar Plexus: yellow (represented in the light)
- Sacral: Orange (representes in the light)
- Root: Red ( represented by the pantie she's wearing)

This is the final result, I did a few doodles before I started with the final version in photoshop. I know i'm not perfect yet, but I feel very pleased with the result, cause it's been such a long time since I started painting this and finally I can see the result. 

Program: Photoshop CS5 
Tools: Brushes mixed with some layer effects. 
Extra tools: Genius tablet
